SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Feb. 24, 2003 -- Sequence Design, has
signed a sales management agreement for Aquarius Technologies
to represent the company in Europe, supplementing the company's
already strong European network of field applications engineers,
R&D, and technical marketing. Headed by 25-year industry
veteran, John Siemens, Aquarius provides pan-European sales
and marketing support for a select group of pre-IPO, U.S.-based
electronics companies from its offices in Brussels and Grenoble.
As a result of this agreement, Sequence
plans to build on its European success with major customers
such as Amphion, ARM and Infineon. According to Siemens,
the time is right to further promote Sequence's presence in
Europe. He said leading semiconductor companies are picking
up the pace of new-product design, particularly in the wireless
and portable space, a natural opening for Sequence.
"Sequence has extremely strong,
fundamental technology offerings in power, signal-integrity,
and extraction - all of which are critical for the portable
and wireless markets," Siemens said. "At the same
time, Sequence's nanometer design tools are an absolute necessity
for anyone dealing with customers at the cutting edge of process
technology."
Siemens founded Aquarius Technologies
12 years ago. Aquarius has a sales office in Grenoble, and
a sales and customer service center in Brussels. His lengthy
electronics industry experience stretches back to Fairchild
Semiconductor.
"Being familiar with John's record
of success over the years, this was an easy decision to make,"
said Al Lipinski, Sequence senior vice president of worldwide
field operations. "We have a terrific product portfolio
that lines up nicely with trends in this market, and now we
have the people in place to describe and deliver all that
Sequence has to offer, directly to the European design community."
Sequence, with John Siemens in attendance,
will be an exhibitor at this year's DATE in Munich, March
3-7. More information about Aquarius Technologies is available
