Sequence Goes Green For St. Patty's Day

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - March 17, 2006 - In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Sequence Design, the EDA leader in power-aware SoC design solutions, has declared itself the top "Green" company in EDA.

"Green is synonymous with conservation, and Sequence is the only company that focuses on conserving power at all levels from RTL to signoff," said Sequence president and CEO Vic Kulkarni. "We're reducing power, extending battery life, preventing overdesign and respins, and continuously setting the benchmarks for power-aware chip design."

Sequence customers are SoC designers for consumer, mobile, and highly integrated devices - the hottest markets in electronics today. Sequence design tools focus on four areas: predicting power consumption early in the design cycle, reducing switching power consumption, reducing leakage power, and efficient power-grid design.

"We just do electronics though, not green beer," Kulkarni said. "We'll leave that to the experts. Happy St. Patrick's Day!"
