SANTA
CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2004--Sequence Design,
the leader in low-power tools for nanometer design, today
announced an agreement to expand its presence in Europe. As
a result of the agreement Sequence will add two sales offices
in London and Stockholm, complementing its existing sales,
engineering and support operations in the region.
The Sequence European operation will
be headed by industry veterans Johan Gardelius and Micke Wersall,
each with more than 20 years of pan-European sales and marketing
experience. Through their leadership, Sequence plans to build
on its European success with major customers such as Infineon
and ST Microelectronics.
"We are delighted to have Johan
and Micke on board selling our tool suite to companies that
are interested in a Design For Power (DFP) methodology,"
said Al Lipinski, senior vice president of worldwide sales.
"Their thorough industry knowledge, regional experience,
and proven track record of sales, will be key contributors
to pervasive adoption of Sequence low-power design tools throughout
Europe."
"The ASIC and fabless design houses
in the region are rapidly developing a low-power design methodology,"
said Johan Gardelius. "Sequence's expertise in low-power,
low-voltage and leakage power reduction tools has rapidly
drawn interest from companies that are moving to 130-nm design
and below."
