Texas (June 4, 2008) - The Silicon Integration Initiative
(Si2) announces the election of their Board of Directors for
the 2008-2009 term, as well as the place and time for the
Annual Member/Guest Meeting.
The new Corporate Board Member is: Sequence Design, represented
by Mr.Vic Kulkarni, president & CEO. This new 10th position
on the Board of Directors is reserved for an end-user company
or EDA company whose annual revenue is less than $100M/year.
The re-elected Board Members and their representatives are:
AMD - Ward Vercruysse, director and fellow; ARM, Inc. - John
Goodenough, world wide director Design Technology; Cadence
Design Systems, Inc.- Ted Vucurevich, CTO; IBM Microelectronics
- Leon Stock, director, EDA; Intel Corporation - Rahul Goyal,
director, EDA Business; LSI - Ameesh Desai, senior director,
Design Tools & Methodology; National Semiconductor - James
Lin, vice president of Technology Infrastructure; NXP - Barry
Dennington, sr. vice president; and Synopsys - John Chilton,
sr. vice president, Marketing & Strategic Development.

The Annual Si2 Member/Guest Meeting will be held on June 9,
2008 from 6-8:00 PM in the Anaheim Convention Center, Room
304B, Anaheim, CA. Mark Mason of Texas Instruments, Chair
of the Design for Manufacturability Coalition, will be the
keynote speaker. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided,
and all members and guests are encouraged to attend. You do
