SANTA
CLARA, CALIF. August 8, 2004 Sequence Design,
Inc., the technology leader in low-power design solutions,
announced today that the company will co-sponsor- the International
Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED). Other
sponsors include Intel, Texas Instruments and IBM.
ISLPED is the premier forum for the presentation
of recent advances in low power design and technologies, ranging
from process and circuit technologies, to simulation and synthesis
tools, to system level design and optimization.
Sequence will also exhibit at the conference,
which will be held from August 9-11, 2004 at the Newport Beach
Marriott Hotel, Newport Beach, California.
"Sequence is fully focused on addressing
the critical leading-edge design problems such as leakage
power, dynamic power, voltage-drop and their impact on timing
and signal-integrity using our unique NanoCool™ power
integrity flow," said Vic Kulkarni, president and CEO
of Sequence Design. "We look forward to learning from
the innovative research and development on low-power design
solutions that will be discussed at ISLPED 2004."

Earlier this week, Sequence launched
the NanoCool Low-Power Design seminar series with co-sponsors
Artisan Components and Sun Microsystems. Attendees packed
the historic Silicon Valley Capital Club Athletics to learn
about power management at ESL, RTL and gate-level, with a
particular emphasis on leakage power reduction. Seminar proceedings
are available for qualified inquiries from .
NanoCool Initiative
NanoCool is a joint venture among semiconductor
designers, EDA tool vendors, IP companies and library suppliers,
to provide a complete power integrity flow that includes concurrent
power management, timing and signal-integrity capabilities
to achieve rapid design closure at 130-nm and below.
